WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION

•Operate large excavating equipment in an industrial setting unloading material from various types of trailers.
•Sort material by type and place in proper storage area.
•Communicate with fellow employees on operating procedures and securing material.
•Move material from storage to production conveyor.
•Perform pre and post operational checklist on equipment to maintain optimum operation of equipment on a daily basis.
•Follow all safety rules of the facility.
•Follow instructions from the crew leader of the department.
•Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
•Compliance with Employee Handbook
•All other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•Minimum of three years' experience operating large excavating equipment on a daily basis.
•Capable of sitting and operating equipment on a 9-hour work schedule.
•Ability to work in all weather conditions.
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION

•Using a torch supplied by oxygen and natural gas to cut steel to the required specifications for shipment to consumers.
•Ability to identify the different grades of ferrous metal for proper sorting.
•Maintain all torching equipment on daily basis in order to achieve maximum operation of equipment.
•Maintain and preserve all required personal protective equipment that is required to perform the job.
•Follow instructions of crew leader to perform the daily tasks and follow safety rules.
•Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
•Compliance with Employee Handbook
•All other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

•Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
•Ability to work in environment that has above normal heat conditions.
•Ability to wear personal protective respirator, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, face shield, steel toe boots and full sleeve gloves.
•Ability to work standing 9 hours per day.
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION

•Operate Manual 10 Speed/13 Speed Transmission or
•Operate F350 pickup with car hauler trailer
•Required to maintain 70 hr./8-day DOT Logs (Electronic)
•Ability to manage time and be efficient in loads per dispatch assignment
•Perform daily DOT/DVIR Pre & Post Trip Inspections of Truck and Trailer.
•Ability to hook/unhook equipment (Dry Van, Flat bed, Dumps - side or end, steel high/low side, and roll off boxes - experience preferable)
•Ability to safely secure cargo (tarp, strap, chain, climb 6 ft. ladder, etc.)
•Ability to lift 50 lbs.
•Pick up and delivery of scrap metal
•Ability to communicate in professional manner with customers at pick up/delivery of materials.

The purpose of the Level I, Mobile Fuel & Lube Technician is to deploy best practices in the field of mobile equipment lubrication & fueling, as it is applied to the equipment's condition monitoring program, lubrication maintenance and fueling practices. Generally, this individual has daily contact with all of the heavy and support mobile equipment and routine influence over the condition of lubricants and fuels in use. The individual is directly involved in the machine lubrication programs and is directed by the Mobile Maintenance Department Lead along with the Lubrication Programs, lubrication specialist.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS

•Manage lubricant delivery, storage and dispensation in accordance with best practices
•Manage a route for machinery re-lubrication and/or inspection.
•Use simple techniques to select grease application methods (including automated delivery) that are least intrusive and most effective for machines commonly found in mobile equipment.
•Use simple techniques to estimate re-grease and lube volume and interval for machines commonly operated in industrial settings.
•Properly maintain automatic lubrication systems (auto-grease, mist systems, etc.).
•Deploy basic oil analysis techniques to identify and troubleshoot abnormal lubricant degradation conditions and use simple techniques to adjust the lubricant specification accordingly.
•Monitor the application and training of proper lubrication practices as it applies to those responsible in lubrication duties.
•Responsible for daily fueling of all equipment
•Responsible daily for greasing all fittings and top off all fluids to original manufacturer (OEM) standard.
•Diagnose and repair company assets, maintain repair order documentation and assist other Request parts required as necessary
•Ensure service trucks are kept clean, organized, and maintained properly and ready for use at all times.
•Immediately report any safety violations and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
•Perform technical inspections and document findings.
•Perform Preventive Maintenance operations when required.
•Drop oil and change filters.
•Assist in preventative maintenance
•Supporting other technicians with performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
•Maintain a clean job site: picks up all tools, equipment, secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
•Maintain tools and equipment
•Perform other duties as assigned by Foreman

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•High School diploma. Formal vocational or technical training a plus.
•Minimum of 3 years' experience as a fuel and lube technician or similar experience.
•Good general knowledge of heavy, light and support mobile equipment.
•Good general knowledge of maintenance equipment & tools applicable to the job.
•Good communication skills: verbal and written in English.
•Knowledge in Reliability Based Maintenance, a plus.
•Knowledgeable in reading working drawings, schematics and technical information.
•Knowledgeable in mobile equipment lubrication and fuel systems
•Familiar with DOT regulations pertaining to safe fleet operations
•Familiar with Work Order Management Systems.
•Familiar with heavy equipment and OTR truck gas & diesel power engines and drive trains, a plus.
•Proficient in the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to: fall protection, respirators and PPE where applicable.
•Able to lead work crews in a safe and efficient manner.
•Able to handle physical aspects.
•Ability to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of applicable safety precautions
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•Ability to independently operate heavy equipment.
•Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking while maintaining a high level of organization
•Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, outstanding communication skills, both oral and written

MAINTENANCE PARTS RUNNER

This is a full-time hourly position, plus bonus. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed. This position reports directly to the Scheduling and Planning Manager. Job duties and work hours are subject to change at any time.

WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION

•Coordinate with Purchasing Coordinator on parts pick up and receiving.
•Pick up parts from external locations.
•Verify parts picked up from external locations against shipping/packing list
•Inspect received items for damage prior to signing off.
•Deliver parts and supplies to external locations to support Maintenance team
•Drive company vehicles
•Practice Safe Driving Habits
•Follow verbal and written directions.
•Assist with inventory management (cycle counts, kitting, staging, etc.)
